Whole Foods and CFSB Partnering Up!

By: 0

Listen Up Everyone! CrossFit South Bend is partnering up with our local Whole Foods Market in Mishawaka for a special fundraiser next month. More details to come - but in the meantime, save the date of Oct. 17th when we'll be out at the Whole Foods parking lot from 4-7. Donate to a good cause and you get to call the shots on your coaches. That's right - you get to tell them what to do. We want to see a great show of support by the CFSB community at this event so tell your friends, tell your family and keep an eye on the blog and Facebook for more details in the coming weeks! -Jess

I never had a problem keeping off the pounds till after my second child. I gained 20 lbs in the year and a half after having my second son. I think it was a combination of my husband losing his job, his depression, my schedule at work and craziness with the kids schedule that made me depressed enough to stop caring about the food [pullquote type="right"] I stopped eating the rest of my kids food, or snacking just because everyone else was. I chose healthy food and eating this way helped my allergies, psoriasis, an joint pain.[/pullquote]I put in my body or what I looked like. Luckily my brother runs this great gym with a great lifestyle plan. I started at Crossfit when they had a lifestyle challenge that began January 1st and lasted 90 days. I lost 16 lbs the first month, and my total loss after two months was 32 lbs. My last weigh in was one week after the challenge was over. My total loss was 38 lbs. Everyone is telling me I look better than ever and my " love handles" are gone the first time in my life. It's great! Aside from the weight loss I noticed my cravings and senseless eating had stopped. I stopped eating the rest of my kids food, or snacking just because everyone else was. I chose healthy food and eating this way helped my allergies, psoriasis, an joint pain. I also sleep better than ever and have more energy than ever. I finished the challenge a week ago. When I went off plan for the first time I felt bloated, sick and I didn't overindulge either. I like how I feel much better when I make the right choices with my food. I plan on eating this way for the rest of my life. Thanks to Crossfit South Bend for sending me down the right path.
