2015 Crossfit Open

By: 0

The 2015 CrossFit Open is right around the corner, and in an attempt to target directly to people who are intending on competing, I've creating a mailing list. Of which, I've had a lot of members and non members sign up to receive information. Click here to join the list to receive emails pertaining to the 2015 Crossfit Open
With this mailing list I will be sending out periodic emails pertaining to programming, preparing, competing, and other related topics on the CrossFit Open, anything you may have questions about, you can ask once you have joined the facebook group, that way we avoid answering the same question multiple times through email.
I've created a Facebook group that you can ask questions and create discussions around competitive CrossFit related topics.
Now, currently the specific dates have not been announced, but you can expect the 2015 CrossFit Open to begin around the end of February.
Now, if you are a little unsure of what the CrossFit Open really is?
Familiar with the CrossFit Open, but not in the loop about the changes happening in 2015?
This year you can expect
*A larger competitive field, with the regions being combined
*Scaled Open Workouts, and for that matter, Rx'd Open workouts
*Teenage division
*State and Country Champions
Now one of these things that may affect you more than anything, is that now that they have separated the Rx'd and scaled division, you may see a more diverse pool of movements, handstand push ups, kettle bell swings, heavier lifts, and more complex/longer workouts. As it gets closer and more clues are put out there (like the 2015 judges course) You'll have a clearer idea of what you may have to deal with, and what division would be best for you to sign up for.
Lets get some discussion going

Because of her young age, the doctors advised her to simply come back when she was 40. Due to her persistence at being screened it was discovered that she had Stage 0 (DCIS) breast cancer. It was in part her friend’s strong survivor spirit along with the challenges that she faced in accessing breast health care services that inspired Zionna to create Barbells for Boobs and the Mammograms In Action Grant Program as a proactive voice and supportive resource in the fight against breast cancer[/promo][promo image="10453"]In 2009, the first Barbells for Boobs event was held in a parking lot in Corona Del Mar with 60 athletes from 3 local CrossFit affiliates. Since then, Barbells for Boobs has grown exponentially and now involves more than 45,000 participants across 1300 affiliates in 23 countries![/promo][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Hey all of you business owners and professionals here at CrossFit South Bend. This is an idea I had received a while ago and I really would like some help to get it under way.  As a business owner myself, I have become more aware over the last 7 years of how important it is to support local businesses in the community, and especially within the gym. Very often I have people approach me asking for a good Electrician, Plumber, Landscaper, Vet, Massage Therapist...etc etc, we have all kinds of professionals in our own gym community that I would like to refer them to! So I would like to display all of you on a page for easy reference like our coaches page here  What I need from you? If you would like to be advertised on this page, click here to email me at Brandon@crossfitsouthbend.com  and include... 1. A profile picture 2. What it is you specialize in/services you offer 3. Contact information 4. any other information you'd like to include
